David May, President/Manager
David has worked in audio for thirty years including more than twenty at DCI. He studied Architectural Technology and for several years he was the operations manager for Benchmark Media Systems, a manufacturer of broadcast audio distribution systems. He manages the majority of DCI projects, and in most cases also designs the systems. He regularly attends technical seminars and training sessions conducted by manufacturers, professional organizations, and independent educational organizations, including Syn-Aud-Con, Electro-Acoustics seminars, EASE sound & acoustics software design training, Crown IQ certification training, and annual professional seminars (AES, NSCA, InfoComm).

David’s role in DCI projects includes design, project management, and system commissioning.

Andrew Cross, Project Engineer
Andy has been an electronics technician for over twenty-five years including eight at DCI. He is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and Crestron certified Level 2 programmer, and was previously certified as a NICET Level I Low Voltage Communications System Technician. He is trained and experienced in multiple audio programming platforms including Crown IQ, BSS Soundweb, Lectrosonics LecNet, and Biamp’s Audia. He has been involved with audio for over twenty years, and has attended Syn-Aud-Con training for technicians. In addition to audio-video-control system installation, programming, operation and repair, he has worked in the areas of industrial control systems and traffic control technology.

Andy’s role in DCI projects includes verification of electronic system design, system programming, field installation supervision and commissioning, and project documentation.

J.R. Tyler, Installer
J.R. has been involved with audio for over twenty years, many of those as a live sound operator. He has been with DCI for more than one year, and has completed Syn-Aud-Con training for technicians and OSHA construction safety training. JR is currently studying for the CTS certification exam.

JR’s role in DCI projects includes shop fabrication, wiring and testing, field installation and terminations, and on-site project coordination.
